Gospel Literature Outreach Bible Training School (or GLO for short) in Taiping, Malaysia equips and prepares promising and potential leaders from the assemblies and other churches for a life of ministry in their local churches as well as for service abroad. The syllabus covers a wide range of theological, biblical and practical subjects and the lecturers come from GLO Australia, America, United Kingdom, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and elsewhere. The students may do a full-time study coverning nine months or so, or they may opt for part-time studies taking one-week modules of their choice. A number of full-time graduates are now in the mission field abroad. The school just celebrated its 10th anniversary last year.

GLO is situated in the expansive compounds of Taiping Gospel Hall. It has two bangalows which serve as Hostel for the students and the GLO Administrator, and lecturers' quarters adjacent to these bangalows. Its lectures are conducted in the air-con Lecture Room at the back of Taiping Gospel Hall and it shares a library with the assembly too.

KC lectures in two courses there per year. He was at GLO for Pictures in the Pentateuch (a general study on Symbolism and Typology in the first five books of Moses) from May 29 to June 2 this year. (See accompanying photos.) He will be there again for a follow-up detailed study of Typology and Eschatology in the book of Leviticus entitled A Stroll Through Picturesque Leviticus from August 7-11.

Students having their meal after lectures
Eating in all the time can be boring. Sometimes the GLO lecturer and the students are taken out for supper after the Taiping Gospel Hall Wednesday Prayer Meeting or after the Sunday School on Sunday for lunch by hospitable members of the assembly. In this photo, Mr. & Mrs. Sung Lai Su (on the right) were the generous hosts for this occasion.
